If you're on the fence about getting a tablet, you need to check out the Fire 7 from Amazon's Fire line-up. It was already the best value tablet on the market... And, it's not even close. Other manufacturers have released tablets to compete with the Fire 7 from Amazon but the build quality and support are not there (we're looking at you RCA, stick to budget TV's and universal remotes). The Fire 7 features some fantastic value for less than $50. Features include:

  • 8 or 16gb of storage, plus the ability to expand it with a microSD card
  • Front and rear cameras
  • A quad-core 1.3ghz processor for fast computing and streaming
  • And now, Alexa hands-free to control everything with your voice

Previously you had to 'press and ask', now, with the tablet unlocked and/or plugged in you can 'just ask' and Alexa will respond just like your Amazon Echo. You can use it to play music, control smart home devices like light bulbs, and even set timers.

All of the Alexa settings can be adjusted including the ability to turn on ESP, which lets the Fire 7 know you're talking to it and not the Echo across the room. You can also adjust how and when Alexa hears you.

This is by far one of our favorite tablets and it's less than $50 with Alexa built-in.

Note: you can also pick up a Fire HD 10 w/Alexa plus a Free Echo Dot for a limited time.
